sort of fluid on the flo? I have a HONDA CB400 (super four) and when I wake up in the mornings I notice some sort of fluid on the floor.was wondering what this is?

it is not engine oil however.

would appreciate someones help on this

Put a plastic or rubber sheet/mat under the bike and let sit overnight.
Smell what the mat has caught.
If it smells of gasoline, the carburetors will need to be rebuilt - the float needles aren't sealing closed and allowing the float bowls to over flow.
Or just close the petcock when the bike is not running.

are you talking about the CB400-4 supersport 1970's model or the later CB1-400 1990's model.

The earlier bike has seperate oil for the gear box and as such it has a seperate breather. there is possibility that it is either gear oil or exuded condensate from the gearbox as the engine cools.
If it is the later model this has a single oil source but the breather has a fume trap, it is possible that it is exuded condensate from this. Also with water cooling on the later model there is an expansion bottle and if the system is overfilled it is possible that this is also being expelled from the over flow.
