indicate? Hi everyone- I'm a 25 year old female. I eat well, I exercise but....
About 7 years ago, I started to get frequent colds and the flu. I went to see an ENT and he suggested I get my tonsils out (as well as fix my deviated septum). I almost didn't get the surgery because the pre-op nurse noticed my high WBC...
The colds have not improved since the surgery (which was 3 1/2 years ago) and since then, I've been referred to a hematologist who said my leukocytosis (my high WBC) was just "benign", probably because when they make the ranges (3.5-11) they don't take into account the 1% population who don't fit into those guideline ranges.....
I am still constantly sick.... I am always tired- and my WBC is still, always, always high.
I'm wondering what could be wrong with me? Are the two things unrelated? Should I investigate further?
