downgrade to windows xp but failed t? When reinstalling windows xp the hard drive is not detected but with vista it's fine.I want to downgrade it to windows xp
 
Well I'm not sure why it's not showing up but maybe either your SATA Hard Drive needs drivers (Like pressing F2 or F6 during starting of
installation to load drivers using a Floppy drive)

But Windows XP should detect a SATA hard drive I've installed XP on many PCs with a SATA Hard Drive (SATA-II)

But Windows XP is a bit better than Vista but Windows 7 is best
I recommend upgrading to Windows 7 when it comes out

I have Vista installed on my computer and it is very fast and runs great.
don't know why you want to down grade to XP
(nothing wrong with xp just vista is better) when everything is moving forward, in a few years XP will be gone just like the previous operating system went this is progress.
my Vista computer starts up in around 30 seconds much faster then XP so stick with Vista.
 
Don't downgrade. Vista is just fine and very fast too, better than XP. Always upgrade never downgrade and go back into history. Keep up with the new technology else you will be soon outdated.
