stop her complaining to me? She self jeopordises all the time, and makes all sorts of problems in her life.
Just when everything is going well for her she'll do something stupid that then sends her into spirals of depression.
She'll cheat on her boyfriend or contact her ex-boyfriend and I'm always the one that has to pick her up and dust her off and get her back on track.
I am so sick of this because she never listens to me when I tell her the things she is doing is a bad idea.
She gets so self absorbed she forgets to show up to plans we have made together.
How do I stop her complaining to me?
I need to be delicate as she is on anti-depressants and sees a shrink and I don't want to be the one to tip her over the edge.

Tell her you're in a jam too !!! do to her what she is doing to you,i think she is on more than anti depressants !!!! She will eventually bring you down.Get her out of your life.

Read up on "enabler"

An enabler is a person who recognizes that a negative circumstance is occurring on a regular basis and yet inadvertently assists the person with the problem to persist with their detrimental behaviors.

When an enabler decides to stop "helping", relationships invariably become difficult as the enabler becomes a target for rage, pleading, and emotional blackmail. This is the time to stand firm. It's not easy, but if you love your friend or family member, it is the best gift you can give them.
