I have a few questions for Army soldiers...?

I am considering joining the Army and have a few questions for soldiers.

1) What do you like/love about being in the Army? What are some of the ups to being in the Army?

2) What do you not like/hate about being in the Army? What are some of the downs of being in the Army?

3) Is it safe to say that regardless of my MOS I will be deployed to the middle east?

Well the only up would be if you are thinking of attending a 4 year military college that gives you a free AMAZING education I loved my years at West Point Military Accademy and Loved Staying ALive to see my beatuful wife and children
 
The army is a good time for glory and to help your home country

The Army is what you make it. If you give it all you got and pay attention in the training you receive, and apply it to your everyday life in the life in the army, then there is no reason you can't enjoy it and succeed at.Just like every job in life there are good days and bad days there are ups and downs. And yes there is always the chance of going to the middle east, but that is with any branch of the service. But if you are not will to put your life on the line for it then I would consider the Navy. But I am telling you the comradeship of any branch is unlike anything that you will ever experience, it will be more like a family and like any family you will fight, sometimes with each other and sometimes to protect each other.
 
I am not in the army, but will be joining infantry:

1: Just knowing I am going to defend this awesome country.

2: The idea of failing and having failed my squad.

3: Go in with the mind set for the worst.
