So I went to the doctor today and half way through my appointment, he got a call to deliver a baby so I didnt get the chance to ask him a lot of the questions that I had. Im hoping that some with experience could help me out here 
Im 38 weeks 2 days pregnant. They took my BP today and it was 138/89. I had also gained 3 lbs this week which is really unusual for me. My urine was normal.
I was told that I need to take it easy this weekend and that I need to come back on Monday because they are worried about my BP getting too high. they also said that the sudden weight gain was from retaining fluid which had something to do with my BP. Since my urine was normal, are they worried about pre-e or just hypertension?
Also, what happens if my BP does continue to creep up? Will they induce me at this point or just wait for me to go into labor while keeping me on bed rest?
I really dont want to be induced because I know my body isnt ready for labor (havent dilated yet, only 30% effaced, and baby isnt engaged). I know if they induced me now that I have a high chance of ending up with a c-section.
