I have a device (rated @ 140W) that uses 12V DC from a car's lighter jack. ?

I would like to be able to also use it in the office. How can I 're-fit ' the device to also run off of 110V AC? Seems to me it would need a converter that will provide a 12V output @ around 12 amps? Does such a thing exist?
