I have a dell latitude C510, I know it's equip for business, but can I play sims 3?

If not, aside from buying a new laptop or using a desktop what are my options. If there is no other way, and since I own a desktop (a dell dimension 4700) could I upgrade it? Please help me!
 
Compare the specification of the Game with the specification of your Computer if you on minimum then nope
make sure your whatever you install meets the specifications needed of your Computer if you are over fine if you are under NO NO do not install.
Make sure also the Graphics card you need is PCIe or AGP for older Computers if you need to buy one to play this Game
