I have a check engine light on my 1995 Ford Thunderbird with the following codes,...

...please help? P0133 (Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response) and a P1407, but I think the main problem is the first code. Here's a picture of the plastic part that connects to the air flow sensor, tell me you think this is causing the check engine light since it's partially taped up when I bought it :

or does the air flow sensor need to be replaced?

or could my catalyctic converter have something to do with it? someone said someone was going around stealing those, I'm not sure if mine was stolen or if it's still on there, I'm not sure what it looks like, but would that trigger one of those codes?

th etape wouldnt do it and you would know if someone if the converter was gone it wil be loud what id do is add a bottle of fuel treatment or replace the fuel filter
 
P1407 is Egr malfunctions i cant tell without hearing the engine run or air intrusion into egr so you might have a leak somewhere if your motor has over 100,000 which sound to me like it does then it prob the cat you can get this tested the easiest way take the o sensor out get a spark plug from a 1969 cougar from the 351w non this will fit the hole for the o sensor you have to modify the plug to pressure gage and you can check back pressure cats are designed only by law to last 100,000 miles so if its over that it might be bad the excess pressure it what takes out the Oxygen sensor all the sensors work together air flow ox etc
so the computer tells how much fuel to give the engine look for leaks first then check your ox sensor i dont think air flow is bad e-mail me if yopu have any more prob tnx
