I have a chance to get an 848 ducati or an 1098 for around the same price? This will

I have so much to say I don't know where to start...

1. EVERYONE, EVERYONE drops their bike when they first start out, Buying new fairings for a Ducati is not only hard, but very expensive...

2. They are one of the fastest motorcycles you can get, they are VERY responsive and very light. They will NOT tolerate mistakes. They are mostly meant for pros because they KNOW how to handle them. They are also very temperamental beasts

3. Get ready for some outrageous tickets dude, especially if it's red...

But hey it's your money not mine, do what you want with it, just be prepared to be disappointed when you *tip* it over and are now out $4,500.

That said, if you are an older guy and KNOW what you're getting yourself into, I'd get the 1098. But the 848 is a classic and a very cool bike, so it's really up to you.
