i have a 2009 corolla with the JBL system. The JBL system comes with an amplifier/Digital Sound Processing powering all 6 speakers, 4-front and 2-back. My question is, if i want to add an external amplifier to power a couple of subwoofers, can I just tap in-to the speaker wire feeding my rear speakers just to get the signal? Once I have a signal from both speakers, then just connect it to the speaker level imputs on the amplifier and take it from there? Or, will it cut the signal going to the JBL rear speakers and therefore, will loose the power/amplification going to them?
