How can we hold CRTC accountable for allowing BELL Canada to become such a monopolistic monster. BELL charges what it pleases and forces long term contracts on even TV, Internet, Long Distance plans and so forth. I recently had a $920 bill from BELL Canada just because I dared to have my internet service cancelled. Their logic is that I have to pay this since I have somewhere in the fine prints agreed to a contract for 3 years. The only way to get out of this, according to BELL, is that I keep my plan for 3 years and pay the monthly fee of $49. Where I am residing for now provides both phone services and internet as part of the rent. Any idea as to how we can stop monsters like BELL from regulating one of our most essential means of communication this arrogantly? Anybody!?.
