...other to go for myself? That is, I suppose normally one would use the coupon while going out to eat with another person. But can one just use it for him/herself and take food to go? I don't see any restrictions on the coupon against doing this.

Yes, of course. However, look at see if it says "dine-in only." Then it will mean they only want you to come there with another person.
