university? I have a BTEC national diploma in art and design - I got DDM.
I want to study English or Journalism and become a teacher or even study to teach english as a foreign language. But I don't want to go back and study again at level 3 (same as A levels). I'm 23 and with three kids (I'm not going to uni until next year anyway)
Can I study something other than art or not? I worked really hard to get DDM, I was pregnant the during my final year as well so I am proud of my self getting the grades I did.

Well done!
You can study another subject but you need to link it to something art related. As art IS.

It would be quite difficult if you wanted to do midwifery.
During my trip to Y st J uni they said you can study something different to what you studied at college as long as you can relate what you studied in college to it somehow. English is an art degree so yes. Apply and good luck!

DDM is great and will be accepted almost everywhere.

Google UCAS, do a course search and the requirements of the course you want will be on there and details of applying. Or you can see a careers advisor.
