I have a BMW M Sports cdi 2 door coupe that has only done 55 thousand miles as I hardly use it. Its an old 2001 , I've had it from new, it's n perfect condition and it's my pride and joy. The other week someone told me that I was killing the car as I am using just the normal Morrisions/Tesco petrol for it and should be using a premium Petrol . Then I was told that NO unless I was driving the car on a race track or at high performance speeds up and down the country I don't need to be using a premium petrol and it's not harming my car. I only use the car to drive local to the shops and back and not often at high speed down the motorways. So please someone tell me am I using the correct Petrol or should I be using a premium one.
