How have bikes changed over time? What are the different bikes?
Older bike types? Any bike history or fun facts? Please list some different bike models and some people involved in the sport of biking.
(You do NOT have to answer all of these questions but answer a few!)

Bikes have just gotten more functional for specific uses, and they weigh less. You have Mountain bike, road bikes, commuter bikes, beach cruisers, dirt bikes, bmx trick bikes, bmx racing bikes, and hybrids of each type i mentioned. Older bikes are pretyy much the same excluding Mountain bikes, hybrids, and bmx trick bikes. Those became popular in the late 80's I would say. I am not going to tell you models, but I will tell you a few brands. Schwinn, Haro, Redline, Canodale, Specialized, Trek, Fuji, Mongoose, GT, and many others. I think each one of those types make one type really well and market a specific person. Well, you have too many people to talk about in this sport. Since I am black here is some history about a champion black cyclist Major Taylor (http://www.majortaylor.com/). You also have Lance Armstrong, Andy Hampton, George Hincapie, Levi Leipheimer, and Greg lemond.
