I check the batteries checked(power still there), a new starter put on(old starter put back on) to test ignition. The new starter did not crank .The old starter was put back on. The car started but cranks a long time without engine spinning.

Spark plugs, plug wires, coil pack, fuel filter (on the pump and an in-line), fuel pump, plugged/dirty fuel injectors, extremely dirty air filter, massive blow-by (worn out engine) are all possible problems.

many reasons for your problem but probably needs a compression test and a tune up and
if the engine has low compression in the cylinders it will take a lot of cranking to start same as if the plugs are faulty
but it could just be dirty fuel ,clogged filter or faulty fuel pump not delivering enough fuel pressure or the injectors need cleaning
i would suggest having a mechanic look at it and then take his advice on what to do or else you could spend a lot more money than his costs and still not fix it
good luck hope i helped
