I'm beginning to worry that it's going to start costing me some money. I've never had the timing belt replaced. The only thing I've replaced are the CV joints twice and recently a hose that caused it to run hot. It wobbles and shakes but still gets me where I need to go. I have pretty bad credit b/c of stupidity about 5 years ago. So, if I get another car I'm very limited to my options and I am afraid I'll end up paying $15k for a $9k car due to increased interest. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Also, I have $1000 to put down on a used car but thought maybe I should try to save as much as I can and see how long the car lasts me until it just dies. Then, worry about getting another car. Please give reasons for your suggestions - please don't bash me b/c of my circumstances, I made mistakes but am definitely trying to repair them. Thanks for your suggestions in advance.
