The O/D off light came on then it slipped. It revved like it was in neutral. The trans temp light came on and it seems to have lost drive. It tries to engage but can't seem to. What would cause this?
before you go replacing you whole truck due to someones opinion, why don't you atleast check the fluid level (on flat ground, engine on, in neutral). if you dont seem to be low on fluid then its probably time for an overhaul considering the temp light, OD light and slipping is happening. all of that can happen with low fluid levels though so why don't you check that out first. good luck,
