I have a 96' chevy suburban w/ a vortec engine, need any recommendation for adding

some horsepower? the problem is its geared for towing, and has trouble with the 4spd tran with O/D. it stays in the third gear way to long before shifting to the next and then longer for the overdrive to kick in. on hot days its a short situation, but when its cold its wait and see .causes it use more fuel than when its hot.

its a chevy is your problem like my friend said dodge as the hauling chevy has the towing and ford gets the hump take get a ford diesil trust me its way better
