i had a mobil mechanic replace the transmission and it is getting fuel and the starter, alternator, battery are fine, it ran great before the transmission was replaced now it wont start.i think it could be the neutral safety switch but i don't know how to check it. but more options to fix the problem would be great thanks everyone

go to the transmission itself and find the shift lever with the cable attached to it. disconnect the cable, and put it all the way in park.also, there will be a neutral safety switch on the lever itself, make sure it is plugged in.if the transmission was used that you put in , then replace the neutral safety switch.this should fix your problem.
