I have a 94' Toyota T100 that has an overheating issue.?

I changed the oil, new oil filter, and filled up on coolant all within the last 3 weeks. Recently, the temperature gage has been getting close to the hot area, which seemed quite odd. I checked the coolant tank and it was low so I filled up again. I did this same process at least two more times then I started seeing some leakage where the radiator connects to the tube connecting to the engine. So it became clear there was a slight leak. However, I also saw a hairline crack in the radiator right next to the tube. I know i need to take the tube off to clean the corrosion around it but what can I do about the hairline crack?? I am hoping this will resolve my issues because I'm not in the market for a new truck right now.
after i drive it and open the hood, it is really, really hot. i'm talking a lot hotter than normal. so i don't think the thermostat is stuck.
 
Sound like maybe a stuck thermostat. For the radiator, there is a product at auto parts stores called "Stop Leak" (if i remember correctly). It looks like silver metal in a clear plastic cylinder. That should fix a small leak at least temporarily. Ask at the auto parts store to show you where the thermostat is located - not hard to change
 
First I would pressure test the system to verify any all leaks and repair. tighten clamps on "tubes" as needed ( radiator hoses) pressurize system to specifications usually on cap 10 15 pounds is enough. When ever a car overheats a new thermostat is best with NEW manufactures specified type of coolant used as well . Fan clutch should spin with slight resistance when cool and should have more resistance with higher temps. Fan clutch connects fan to accessory drive belt(fan/serpentine belt/pulley)...anyways,...sounds like low coolant and a leak good luck and take no chances head gaskets are not cheap to have done if you get it too hot. radiator inspection for corroded tubes inside needs replacement if bad
 
Replace both radiator hoses and clamps first. If that doesn't solve your problem you will need to take the vehicle to a radiator shop.
