dies. Please help me? My 93 celica has a 2.2 liter engine. I got it from a kid who is going to the air force. And every time I go to move the car it i cant bring it to 2000 rmps or it just dies on me. I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, and the spark plugs. The car had been sitting for a year before I got it. I took all the old gas out and added dry gas as well as 5 gallons of new gas. The car idles fine it is just when you bring it up to 2000 rmps it quits on me. Please help me out.
