is of gas, but every time it runs? out and i fill up i only put in like 4 gallons, so i know there is fuel still in the tank, but it keep dying, it is carbureted, and it has manual fuel pump, what could it be??

That is definately a sign of a bad fuel pump. They have paddles inside of them and as they go bad they break off. When they do the fuel pressure goes down causing your problems. There is still some fuel pressure, which is why it continues to run. They are cheap, so I would try replacing it and see what happens.
