well, i didn't understand what kind of problem u have. R u having problem with the cloudy green water or about other problems? if its about the cloudy green water, then i can tell u that its algae thats creating the problem in ur water. When the nitrite levels r at resonable range or exceeds higher or ur providing excess light or heat in ur aquarium, this causes the algae to grow. Excess algae causes cloudiness, to reduce them do frequent water changes and cut of light and lower the temperature. This would lower thier population. One good advantage is that algae is the favourite food of goldfish, since ur having them and removing the algae, ur goldfish would also help you out to clean the algae! But then, if u have other problems u ought to mention it.

PH is fine 1/4 weekly water changes are fine too. Chances are your phosphates are high. This could be coming from the tap water which may have changed. Cloudy green is an algae bloom.

You may want to look into phosphate pads to run on your filter. This will help as well.

Have you changed the amount of lighting or the type of food youare feeding?
