I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla (1.8L) and I've ran into a problem, not literally. I started my car up, put it in reverse to get out of my driveway, once out, I put it into drive and a few minutes later my VSC (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL) light kept flashing, my check engine light came on, and I had no acceleration. I would put the pedal to the metal and still no acceleration, the engine wouldn't even rev. What's my problem?
 
I'll add that since you don't know whats wrong have it towed to the dealer. There are instances where a warranty claim was refused because the owner disregarded the check engine light.
