I was told with platinum plugs tune ups are not needed for a long time. My parkway mileage is not bad but
locally I seem to be getting less. I stopped fooling around with cars about 20 years ago so I am not up
to snuff on today's vehicles. I just had it in for my 10,000 mile checkup (oil change, tire rotation, etc.)
The mileage you get on a new car never seems to match what they tell you in the book. Any mechanics out there with a suggestion?
