The car would not start this morning. The last time it did this I cleaned battery posts and terminals, jump started it and it was fine. This time it cranks and cranks but will not fire. No warning lights blinking, power to everything, battery is actually only about 6 months old. I was told that the blades on the engine carbon up and the solution is to replace the engine. ??? Was also told that I might be able to get it running if I opened the throttle and cranked the key for 5 to 10 minutes, and if it started to run it red lined or wide open to blow the carbon off the rotary blades. Anyone heard of this? Any suggestions on what else to try? It only has 27000 miles on it and has been a great car!
