the same other than it is? I have a 2004 dodge neon sxt. I just had new motor mounts put on and the car sounds the same other than it is quieter at a stand still. what else could the shaking be? It sounds almost normal at a stop light but when I press on the gas it starts shaking again. It has 86000 miles on it.

Bad coil pack, plug, or wire. Also check thoroughly for vacuum leaks. Worst case, and unfortunately common on a neon, would be a head gasket. Usually that's accompanied by some smoke when it warms up. Also, could be a cracked intake manifold if it's a plastic one. I'm not sure what year they started using plastic, but it was and is a problem.
