engine seems locked........? 2003 Kawasaki KFX50 was loosing power when accelerated and suddenly stopped and the pulling rope device is locked inside. The rope will not come out and the engine will not cycle.....
Yup, it sounds like the engine gave up but maybe not. I would start by pulling off the starter rope assembly to check it for binding because it may be that simple. If that isn't it, try and find a way to turn the crank to see if it is the engine itself.
