I have a 2002 mercury sable and it is leaking something..?

I am not sure what it is but when I parked the car today I noticed a trail of drips of whatever liquid it was where I had just been driving.
Could this be a radiator problem?
Well, I know nothing about cars. What would help me expand the description of it?
I can't tell what color the fluid is but it doesn't smell like oil.
 
could be coming from your heater, while it's on it builds up condensation. Or your tailpipe. What color is the liquid? Brown, redish, clear or black?
