I have a 2002 chevy cavalier standard 2.2 5 spd it seems to be getting enough fuel pressure from pump, i've tried unhooking lines into the filter and holding my thumb over the line and it felt like it had enough pressure coming from it. second i'm not getting fuel to the engine and car will start if you put gas in the breather tube but dies after any suggestions about what would be wrong with car.
your correct using a thumb is not the best method and no its not a bi-fuel theres no lights when going to start the car. like 2 weeks ago it would not start at all and i put in a fuel filter bingo fired right up pretty much, well then driving it to work it started but not right away. i put in a fuel pump from another cavalier but still nothing. is there a way to test pressure i couldnt find the spot to hook up to check for pressure. under the air cleaner is a valve stem looking deal but tried to back blow a clog and it went to a black box looking thing thats bolted to the rear crossmember under neath.
Where would the fuel schrader valve be located on this 02 cavalier
