I have a 2001 Kawasaki KX 500 and im wondering if i can race it in motocross in the 4t

450 class? i was riding a 1987 yamaha yz 125, and have recently bought this kawasaki i mentioned above. I weigh 250lbs. and im 6"4. I ride in the desert almost every day because i go straight from my front door right into the desert for as long as you can ride. I recently just bought an annual license for LACR ( Los Angeles County Raceway). I am now able to go ride on their practice days whenever i please to. But the lady said i would ride my 2t 500 with the 450 4t class. Is this true?
