Any time you have high powered electrical add ons placed on a vehicle, you MUST upgrade the charging system.

Stereo Amps, Off Road/Neon Lights, Winches, multiple T.V. monitors are all included.

Amplifier is affecting the alternator? I would like to know if my 600 Watt Amplifier for my audio system is to much for my alternator. I went to have the alternator tested yesterday and it was only pushing out half the amperage that it is suppose to. The book on a newly refurbished alternator for my truck is about 130 amps peak power. The one in my vehicle now is only peaking at about 69 or 70 amps. They told me at the auto store that the alternator is charging but I just bought a brand new battery and installed and they said the alternator in the truck now will not keep the battery in good charge like it should...
