I have a 2000 883 harley sportster what is the best gas to run in this bike.?

yep, the 93 is good for it. I use 92 when I can get it; most Texas fuel in an air controlled county is 91/oxygenated. -and I top it off with some avgas. (good stuff -100 octane)
and yeah, the sea foam is worth every nickel. You can even find this little pocket-pak additive "rocket fuel" online and its good too,... about every 4 or 5 tanks is what I run it when the airport cuts me off for awhile....

Never never never use any gas additive unless it's Sta-Bil if you measure correctly to store for the winter. Usually 87 octane should work just fine on the bikes unless you've incorrectly messed with the carb, chips, exhaust, etc then it won't run right without higher octane gas which actually helps shorten the engine life. Leave the beasts alone unless you know what your'e doing and do it RIGHT. Just put straight 87 in it and if it doesn't run right and you bought it used you should take it to a Harley tech and have them really look at it.
My brother bought a used Harley 1300cc and paid the price.. a HIGH price. Turns out the joker who bought it new put a new carb and exhaust on without changing the chips or re-jetting the carb. Cost my poor brother LOTS of money to get it running right again. Now that he's got it done right (even changing the gears in the clutch to kevlar) he's got just over 115 horsepower outta that sucker on 87 gas.

I have quite a few mechanic friends that swear by Sea Foam for older engines, and 93 Octane when I can get it is all I use. I've been using the highest octane gas I can get and have had no issues with it. One of my riding buddies has a 1200 Sportster and he tried the lower grade stuff with the result of the engine not sounding right, and just not running right.
