forget mollies, they get decently big and while they don't produce a ton of waste they aren't the cleanest fish either.
your tank is small... you're choices are limited. if it has a heater and a filter you can have a betta or a MALE guppy or two. a planted tank with some shrimp and snails would be interesting a different.
