My girlfriend was driving her car on the freeway and the timing belt's teeth got sheered off so i went through and replaced the timing belt, got everything put back together and then the car started fine- for about 10 minutes...after that the right middle coil pack got very hot, melted, and popped out. Went and got another one and replaced that but then that was getting very hot...after i let it cool down i switched out spark plugs to see if that was the reason it was getting hot- that didn't work and while i was trying to figure that out the PCM popped really loud and barreled out smoke. The car did not turn off, did not throw and codes out and will still start. I am at a loss, anyone have this happen to them??
I have a 1999 Chrysler 300m and the timing messed up, coil pack got hot and PCM blew up?
