it be? I changed the battery, and nothing. I noticed that it could be electrical because originally i thought it was the battery. The headlights dim and brighten back and forth so does the lights in the odemeter that light up when I turn on the headlights. I also noticed that it could be missing ground wires to the battery because a while back i looked under the hood of another firebird and ny car is missing a red ground wire to the battery that my friends firebird has mine only has the black wire, his has a black and red wire that look like ground wires i'm assuming. could that be the culprit to the slow starts? Also, when in park the car always seems like it wants to turn off it even surges gas into the motor as if it's trying to stay alive. Once I put it in drive it stays a steady idle.
I forgot to add that I had the alternator and starter checked! I took my car to autozone and they said that it might be a ground wire
