I recently had to replace the exhaust manifold and to do this the radiator had to be taken out also. When i got everything back together i tried firing up the car and all i hear is a grinding noise. I traced the grinding noise to where i could hear its coming from and it appears to be coming from an opening in the center of the engine on the undercarriage. The hole i see a rusted gear and Im afraid i might have dropped the tranny and this is the gear box that im seeing. Can anyone help.
