have a 1997 neon and for a few months i heard a knocking sound in the front tire area a little bit after that when i was driving it the tranny wouldnt shift untill 3-4 on the rpm gadge not to long after that my car doesnt even move when i have it in drive but when i put it in reverse the car shifts with no problem and it starts to move can any one tell me what could be wrong.
