My 1997 Chevy S-10 4 cyl. fuel injected manual truck won't run properly when the gas pedal is fully pressed down...
Example...
It will start and run when idling...
I can press the pedal down 10% of the way and it will run decently, but when it comes to pressing down the pedal at full throttle it doesn't want to give me any power (motion) to the wheels...
But if I slowly press down on the gas pedal overtime I can evently get it up to full throttle...
The fuel filter and spark plugs (Already gapped) have been replaced... the diagnostics codes readings are showing it's the "throttle position sensor" and "Exhaust O2 Sensor" which have both been replaced and are getting enough power to it...
Also, all the vaccum lines have been checked and are running properly with enough psi going into each designated area...
My guess would be the distributor...
But anyone else with a knowledge insight on this matter would be greatly appreciated... Or any helpfull advice before I start looking towards an auto shop...
