I have a 1997 Chevy Lumnia that is leaking trans fluid in front can I patch it?

I belive the leak is along the radiator in the hard lines that go from the rubber hose from the transmission to the radiator
 
Only rubber hose spesiffically designed for trans fluid will work, otherwise you can replace whole line but you have to bend metal line and if it rubs anything it will fail, mechanics are experienced with metal line, not a mechanic? ask parts store for Trans cooler line and bring a piece of old one so they know size
 
Good observation. Do not hesitate to replace the line ASAP. A temporary rubber splice with 2 small hose clamps is just that, temporary, but will do.
