other day and I noticed steam? coming out from under sides of the hood. I was not sure what it was. I took it for a test drive and the temp gauge started rising very quickly. I turned the heat on and it dropped back down, but when I was stopped at a light it would start to come back up some. The die down again when I took off. The heat was not always hot either, it would blow cold sometimes too. I got home, I checked under the hood and I seen a tiny bit of coolant on the front lower part of the engine but could not tell wear it came from. It was burning on the part it was laying on. The white coolant container was full though and there is no leak on the ground at all. What could this possibly be? The thermostat or a hose? I am not sure. Also are they expensive to fix? I have called around but it seems every place will charge a lot just to look at it to discover the real problem. Any advice would help. Thank you!
