while the transmision quits? after a while the transmission will quit let it set for a while and it will take off again and shift good after a while it will quit again till it sets awhile the transmission fluid is good and red when it is driving it shifts good and then it just quits any kind of answers will be greatly appreciated thank you

honestly it sounds like its low on fluid.
the proper way to check the fluid level is to let it get up to running temp and then check it while its idling in park.

that's usually the tcm unit that goes bad on those and causes that too happen, what it does it gets heated up and it causes it to loose power and then it wont shift right or will kick out, they do this because the tcm unit gets old or gets a small crack in it enough to cause it to draw heat or moisture,if you,ll have the compute scanned it may even show a code for it being bad, good luck.
