dealership? And they called and said it is leaking everywhere just drive it until the wheels fall off. And to keep checking the fluid levels. I have a $ 800.00 credit with them I would think they could fix some of the leaks. The car looks great also !

Depending on the leaks and location, just for one leak repairs(parts and labor) could well exceed $800. It's a 1996, the repairs probably exceed the value of the vehicle. Regularly check the fluid levels, drive it till it drops.

Not the world's greatest car and it is probably isn't worth a whole lot more than your repair credit. Ask them to give you an estimate of each repair needed and determine the most crucial ones that you can afford for $800. The steering and cooling system have many inexpensive parts in them and are crucial. Motor and transmission seals will likely not be worth fixing unless it is a steady flow of fluid. Hope this helps.

HI
$800.00 isn't enough to fix it... especially from a dealer.. go to another shop.. did they say how they checked it?? When a dealer says what they did to you I would never recommend them to anybody..
It is most likely Valve cover gasket (s) (you don't say if its a 4,6 or 8 cylinder) timing chain cover gasket, oil pan gasket, mail seal's ( that is very expensive), oil sending unit.
good luck
