I posted it up for? $1000.00 bucks on car ads. It has some dents and dings on it but pretty darn clean on the inside. I had a guy come take a look at it who was interested in buying it. He put some break fluid in and just drove it down my street and back. He brought his friend who is a mechanic. They looked it over and they were going to give me $750.00 for it, which was fine. Then they checked around the motor and the oil and showed me how there was foam in it and they said it is a head gasket leak. They said it would be expensive to fix and along with the break like it could be close to $900.00 to do that. So they offered me $200.00 for it but I said I would think about it. Should I take that or is that way too low? I really dont want to put the money in it as I just got it for a winter vehicle. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Oh by the way it has a 169,000 miles on it.
