car-? 16 yrs old- needs new serpentine belt, thermostat, (water pump?)... does have issues with overheating, esp. if idling for about 5 minutes or so (esp. in summer, obviously). odor is smoky, yet almost smells like burnt rubber, or maybe even plastic- stinks- also, problems with drivers side door lock mechanism, ( also gets hot to touch). is obviously visually damaged, bent. husband was able, as i was in car, idling at store, to also smell same odd odor outside of car. worried- any advice?
