i have a 1994 Toyota corolla and the abs light is always on?

i was just wondering how to fix that problem with the abs light. also the brake petal goes almost to the floor with the car barley slowing down just wondering if the abs light is affecting that and how to solve the problem. if i have to replace a fuse if that will fix it or disconnecting the Battery if that will fix it
What happens is that I turn on my car and the light goes on then it turns off and goes right back on and stays on

your active brake control makes sure that your brakes don't lock when you press them too hard, to make sure your ABS is working you can go to an emty lot or a parking lot and go in a straight line untill you reach 20mph. when you reach 20mph you have to brake hard, if you feel the brake pedal slighty push your foot back a couple of times it means your abs is working and you've got a faulty sensor, if not then you need to replace your abs onboard computer. either way your brake pedal shouldn't go down so far and you should prob. replace your brake pads or if you have replaced the brake pads you might need a new set of brake discs. hope this helped, good luck
