it, is that true? I've been told that I could drive it in 1-3 gears for a long time without a problem. can i go long distances and hills, will it keep going? I put a lot of money into it!
kind of yes if it wil go into drive sure but really your trans is on the way out and id be looking for a new trans really id just buy another car like a ford or chevy pontiac as always had a trans problem ive own 8 of them and each one lost the trans... so if you can put it into drive an dit moves it might last a week could be a month could be tomorrow your transmission is going bad lost one gear its real close to not moving at all
i have a 93 and a 95,tranny's in these pos's are very weak,even a new one will fail you down the road.
as for your question,yes you can drive it in third gear,your fuel milage will go down though.
