cold air intake to it? i have a 1991 chevrolet corsica with a 2.2l fuel injection. can i adapt a cold air intake into it without it being a hassle? does anyone know where i can get detailed instruction, diagrams and the items i need to make it happen?the current air filter system uses the circular style of air filter. about 10" diameter, about 2" high.

all cars have a cold air intake installed by the factory. The hose leading from the air cleaner to the front grill, or fender well is a cold air intake.Unless you have frosty the snow man stuffed up your air cleaner, your wasting money. That's an advertisement thing for guys reading car mags who don't know any better.Cold air intake? How can you cool the air any colder than it is out side already? If you can then it requires some source of power. One that consumes more than it provides. I know no one with any knowledge of basic physics can prove this incorrect

CAI won't do anything at all for your vehicle.

Zero gain, whether in performance, of mileage.

Save yourself the hassle, and any money, and just don't bother.

If you need to know why this is, email me.

cold air intake on this engine will help but not enough to feel in the seat of your pants stock will get better milage but if you just have to have it check out jegs . com 1800 345 4545 good luck
